TRAINING & RESOURCES
EMEAA members receive exclusive access to publications, professional development and a comprehensive suite of resources and materials. EMEAA’s professional development offers emergency management communications professionals a wide variety of learning opportunities including live workshops, on-demand webinars, independent training and more.
Unique to EMEAA is a selection of historical incidents documented to serve as a reference for our members. EMEAA’s Historian resides on the Board and whose duties include researching the evolution of emergency management external affairs policies, concepts, and strategies. The historical incidents are analyzed to determine how the external affairs efforts impact societal, governmental, institutional, and political responses before, during, and after disasters. These historical case studies identify best practices contributing to public safety and community disaster recovery and resilience.
